You Have Been Using Sanitary Towels And Pads Wrong All Your Life (And How To Do It The Right Way)

Sanitary towels are worn between the vulva and the underwear. There exist two types of sanitary towels :
adhesives that stick to the panties, and with wings that wrap under the panties to keep the pad in place. On every 4 to 8 hours, sanitary towels should be changed so as to avoid getting over soaked.

Disposable sanitary towels :
Step 1

Remove the sanitary towel from the package and unfold it.
Step 2
Sit on the toilet and pull your underwear down just above the knees.
Step 3
Now, remove the strip to reveal the adhesive on the back of the sanitary towels. If you are using sanitary towels with wings, there should be three strips: the main one and one on each wing.
Step 4
Press the sanitary towels, with the adhesive side down, onto the crotch of your underwear. Then, fold the wings around the sides of the crotch of your underwear and press them against the underneath of the panties. If you are using sanitary towels that are designed for thong underwear, you must put the widest part of the towel facing the front of the underwear.
Step 5
Ensure that the sanitary pad is in the right position, by pulling your underwear up. It needs to cover the entire opening of your vagina.
Step 6
In every 2 hours check your sanitary towels to see if it should be changed. You will know that it’s time to change it when the sanitary towels is wet on the surface and is no longer absorbing menstrual fluids.
Step 7
When replacing, fold the used sanitary towels up, like it was when you removed it from the package. Wrap toilet paper around the sanitary towel and throw it in a trash can.
Reusable sanitary towels
Step 1
Sit on the toilet and pull the panties down to just above your knees.
Step 2
Put the sanitary towel on the crotch of your panties with the snaps on the wings facing up to you.
Step 3
Then, fold the wings over the sides of the crotch of your panties.
Step 4
You have to check your sanitary towel on every two hours to see if it needs to be changed. You will know that it is time to change it when the sanitary towel is wet on the surface and it’s no longer absorbing menstrual fluids.
Step 5
Put the used, reusable sanitary rowel in a bucket of water with soap to soak. Cover the bucket and store it under the bathroom sink. Keep putting every used sanitary towel in the bucket until of your menstrual cycle ends. When you are done with your period, empty the bucket of sanitary towels and the water with the soap and put the sanitary towels into the washing machine. Wash in hot water with regular laundry detergent.
Warnings
You must get rid of the used disposable sanitary towels in a trash can that is out of reach of pets because some pets are attracted to the smell of the menstrual blood.
Tips
You should wash your hands before and after changing the sanitary towel.
